The Law for Reducing the Impacts of the New Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic on Economic and Social Life and Law on Amendments to Certain Laws No. 7244 has been promulgated on the Official Gazette dated 17.05.2020 and numbered 31102.

According to the regulation, corporations will be allowed to distribute only %25 of their 2019 profits and previous year gains and legal reserves cannot be subject to distribution until 30.09.2020. Also, The General Assembly will be unable to grant authority to the Board of Directors for Advance Dividend Distribution until 30.09.2020.

With the Presidential Decree 2948, date of 30.09.2020 has been extended to 31.12.2020.

 Therefore, dividend distribution restrictions are going to be applied until 31.12.2020;

• Corporations is going to be allowed to distribute only %25 of their 2019 profits until 31.12.2020.
• Previous year gains and legal reserves cannot be subject to distribution until 31.12.2020.
• The General Assembly is going to be unable to grant authority to the Board of Directors for Advance Dividend Distribution until 31.12.2020.
